1- The VBCC applies to all power driven boats, irrespective of nautical sport or pleasure boating activity.
2- Respect a speed limit of 58km/h (36mph) when further than 60 metres from shore.
3- Respect a speed limit of 10km/h (6mph) within 60 metres from shore. Exception: skiers or boarders riding perpendicularly toward or away from shore.
4- Use a noise reduction mechanism (e.g. muffler, motor soundproofing) for the entire duration of the activity.
5- Navigate following a straight path to reduce the wake from your vessel (avoid navigating in a circle or ring).
6- Do not monopolize, for an unreasonable amount of time, one part of the lake that is shared by several boats.
