Brief History
The Tremblant Lakeside Skiers Association (TLSA) was launched in 2006 and incorporated in 2010. It brings together enthusiasts of nautical sports such as waterskiers and wakeboarders, Those families resident of lake Mercier want to preserve their freedom of navigation and practice powered water towing activities safely.
TLSA was put together following a resolution introduced by the city in 2003 aiming at imposing boating restrictions for towing activities on lake Mercier. Resolution 2003-645 imposed, among others, limited hours to only two timeframes, from noon to 6PM and from 7 to 8PM !
Thanks to the mobilization of TLSA members and discussions with the city, the Office of Boating Safety and Transport Canada, this resolution was never implemented thus far. The city’s submission would still be « valid » and ongoing efforts from TLSA are needed to protect freedom of navigation from Federal Restrictions on the lake. Thanks to your membership, TLSA will continue to be your voice to carry on with a volontary code instead of potentially very constraining Federal Restrictions.
TLSA maintains a dialogue with those who can regulate lake Mercier such as Municipal and Federal authorities. It provides a voice for lakeside boaters when regulation, demographic or environmental issues aris

If you reside on the lake and that you or your family members enjoy towing activities, your membership to TLSA is critical to ensure freedom of navigation.
